Another operation.

In July I also had another operation, this time to remove the metal from my right arm. It was causing problems and so x rays were taken and it was decided it would be best to remove the metal. It was quite surreal to know that whilst I was having a conversation with the nurse, the surgeon was opening up my arm, undoing screws going in to my bone and removing the metalwork. Very clever.

Unfortunately, on the way home, the injections wore off and by the time I got in to the bungalow, I just wanted to go to bed. I`m not too bad dealing with pain, but this hurt and I felt it best to go to sleep.

At least with this done, I would be able to start some decent physiotherapy. It was the aim now to learn how to, and practice transferring from bed to wheelchair.
